Family-Owned Medical Transportation

TLC and the Founders
Built From the Patient and Family Side
Founded by Luke and Brittany Sorber
TLC Medical Transportation began with a personal experience that showed us how much better medical transportation needed to be.
When our grandfather urgently needed early-morning dialysis transportation, we trusted a well-known transport company to get him there safely. Instead, the experience was a disaster: missed pickups, poor communication, and a terrifying ride that left him injured after a sudden stop. That moment made one thing clear — our community deserved better.

With his encouragement ringing in our ears, “Just go for it,” we bought our first van in March 2020, the same day California shut down. It was not the easiest time to launch a business, but neither of us could stop thinking about people like our grandfather who needed reliable, professional transportation.

From late-night discharges to long-distance transports, we built TLC around one simple standard: show up on time, communicate clearly, and treat every rider with the same care we would want for our own family. Today, TLC provides wheelchair, gurney, stair chair, and ambulatory non-emergency medical transportation throughout Lincoln, Folsom, Placer County, Sacramento County, El Dorado County, and nearby communities.

Whether it’s a scheduled appointment, dialysis ride, hospital discharge, or facility transfer, families and care teams can count on us to get the job done reliably and without the runaround.
You focus on the care. We’ll take care of the ride.
